Lena Tsodykovskaya is a talented and accomplished LA-based commercial and film director with a passion for crafting visually-stylized genre stories that resonate on an emotional level. With a Master of Fine Arts degree in directing from Columbia University, she has established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the advertising world, having worked with numerous top global advertising brands and agencies, including BBDO, Disney, McDonald's, Nissan, Coca-Cola, and VISA.
Lena's impressive portfolio includes a range of critically acclaimed short films, including MOTHER'S DAY, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, and LUISA AND ANNA'S FIRST FIGHT, which have all been showcased at prestigious festivals, such as Kustendorf and HollyShorts, and featured on prominent platforms like Short of the Week, Directors Notes, and Film Shortage.
Following a successful run at Holly Shorts and LA Shorts this summer, her most recent short film, STORM, is currently making waves at Beyond Fest, Sitges Film Festival, and FilmQuest, with several more prestigious festivals still to be announced this fall. As she continues to build her reputation as a rising talent in the industry, Lena is now focused on preparing for her first feature film, BITSY, while also developing the feature version of STORM.
