Laura Jane Grace

Laura Jane Grace, born on November 8, 1980, is a renowned American musician, recognized globally as the founder, lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist of the influential punk rock band Against Me!. In addition to her prominent work with Against Me!, Grace is also the driving force behind Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers, a solo project she established in 2016, showcasing her versatility as a musician. Notably, Laura Jane Grace made history by being one of the first highly visible punk rock musicians to publicly come out as transgender, doing so in May 2012. Since then, she has continued to make a lasting impact on the music industry. In 2020, she released her debut solo studio album, Stay Alive, further solidifying her status as a talented and trailblazing artist.
