Chia Meng, a filmmaker by training, has been diligently involved in various aspects of film production since 2009. His multifaceted career in the industry has spanned over a decade, with a notable start in 2013 when he began directing music videos for Singaporean musicians.
Notably, Chia Meng has also been involved in casting for feature films, including Anthony Chen's critically acclaimed 'ILO ILO' (2013) and Boo Junfeng's 'APPRENTICE' (2016). As a Multimedia Designer, his impressive credits include productions by renowned organizations such as W!ld Rice, The Finger Players, Drama Box, Toy Factory, The TENG Company, Warner Music Singapore, and Singapore Repertory Theatre.
Chia Meng's extensive experience has also led him to work on larger scale shows, including Ah Boys To Men: The Musical, Michael Learns To Rock 25: Live in Singapore, and the National Day Parade in 2017 and 2018.
In 2019, Chia Meng and co-designer Andrew Robert Ng received the prestigious Best Multimedia award at the Straits Times Life Theatre Awards for their outstanding work on W!ld Rice's 'Supervision'. Building on his success, Chia Meng went on to found Fiction Shore, a production company that specializes in creating video content for both the film and theatre industries, in collaboration with other talented artists and collaborators.
