Kavita Sidhu is a renowned Malaysian actress and former beauty queen, hailing from a rich Indian Punjabi ancestry.
In 1990, Sidhu made history by winning the esteemed Miss Charm International title, earning her a coveted place in the Malaysia Book of Records as the first Malaysian to claim an international beauty pageant title.
Throughout her illustrious career, Sidhu has had the privilege of modelling for prominent fashion houses such as Jean-Louis Scherner in Paris and Escada in Munich. Furthermore, in 2009, she showcased a breathtaking RM100 million diamond-encrusted dress by Mouawad at the STYLO Fashion Grand Prix KL.
In addition to her modelling ventures, Sidhu has also ventured into the world of acting, appearing in a string of Malaysian films including Layar Lara, Mimpi Moon, and Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam I & II.
