Biography

Katrina Kemp's journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age, with roots in vaudevillian performances stemming from her paternal family's Bahamian heritage. In 2009, she made her professional debut as Chucky the Killer Doll at Universal Studios Hollywood, marking the start of her acting and stunt-woman career.

With a taste of the industry, Katrina went on to work on low-budget horror films, commercials, and music videos, including a stint with Rihanna. She also appeared in guest roles on TV shows such as Marvel's Spider-Man, RuPaul's Drag Race, Man Seeking Woman, Faking It, and The Eric Andre Show.

During this time, Katrina graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in TV Production from Cal State University Northridge in 2013. She then embarked on a world tour with Miley Cyrus, performing at concert events like Coachella and Insomniac Events.

Katrina's big break came when she landed the role of "Fleck" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to Phantom of the Opera, "Love Never Dies," a First National Tour that premiered in 2017. She became the only Little Person Acrobat-Singer to complete 410 shows of a Broadway production in 41 major cities across North America in just 18 months.

Most recently, Katrina was signed on for a 5-episode arc on the Netflix series, "GLOW," playing the role of "Candy," a feisty wrestler on the circuit. Unfortunately, the show was canceled after filming the first episode.

As an advocate for Dwarfism and Disability inclusion in the media industry, Katrina has made significant strides. She became the first actor with Dwarfism to voice a Little Person animated character on Disney XD's "Marvel's Spider-Man," and has been hired for several talking engagements and social media platforms centered around her experiences as an actor with a disability.

When not on tour or recovering from stunt jobs, Katrina uses her TV Production degree to work as a Reality TV show Transcriptionist and on-set Live Logger around the world. She has worked with companies like 495 Productions, Fox Entertainment, Disney, Bravo Networks, and World of Wonder's, RuPaul's Drag Race.

Katrina has been a member of the AGVA union since 2009, SAG-AFTRA since 2014, Actor's Equity Union since 2017, and the Motion Picture Editor's Guild since 2018. With her unique blend of performance and production expertise, Katrina continues to bring her outlook on life to the world and share the Dwarfism Awareness movement through her work.
