Kade's childhood was shaped by their small-town upbringing outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, where they grew up surrounded by a tight-knit community reminiscent of the Friday-Night-Lights phenomenon. As they navigated their high school years, they attended the prestigious New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, laying the groundwork for their future in the performing arts.
Following graduation, Kade went on to attend Emerson College, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and Performance, complemented by a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. This educational foundation served as the springboard for their decade-long journey in film acting, during which they have worked on various projects.
Kade's path crossed with Liam O'Connor-Genereaux at Emerson, and their collaboration on WalrusDice Productions' Zephyr marked the beginning of a fruitful creative partnership. The Butterfly Queen, their second project with WalrusDice Productions, holds a special place in their heart, as it served as a beacon of hope and support during the pandemic and their process of publicly coming out as nonbinary. This production also marked their first project since coming out, and they are deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to bring the character of Casey to life.
For Kade, performing has long been a liberating and healing experience. As they continue to pursue their passion for acting, they are also building a career in therapeutic work, currently serving as a recreational therapist at a memory care center. They reside in a charming Boston neighborhood with their feline companion, Normal, and find joy in their professional work with individuals significantly older than themselves, while rediscovering their voice in the post-pandemic and post-transition era.
