Throughout his career, Nitzberg has showcased his talents by directing various productions. One of his notable works is the musical "The Beastly Bombing," which premiered in Los Angeles. Additionally, he has also directed the documentary film "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia," a captivating portrayal of the White Family, who have been famously referred to as "the most extreme dope-addled, gas-huffing, alcoholic, robbing, murderous, criminal redneck family in a nation brimming over with 'em."
In 2007, Nitzberg embarked on a scriptwriting project for HBO Films, titled "Sputnik Monroe." This film is based on the true story of Sputnik Monroe, a white professional wrestler who played a significant role in integrating the sport throughout the South in the 1950s. Although HBO initially allowed Nitzberg to work on the script, they later granted him time away from the project to focus on another film, "Wonder Whites." After completing the third draft of the script, Nitzberg is now ready to share his work with the world.
