Jon Schroder, an American filmmaker, was born in 1973. He began his career in New York City, writing for a wide range of television shows, cable networks, production companies, and independent film producers.
As his career progressed, Schroder went on to direct a series of short films, commercials, documentaries, and reality shows for various prominent networks, including Spike TV, Nickelodeon, MTV, and Comedy Central. In addition to writing and directing, Schroder worked in various crew positions on notable television shows, such as The Sopranos, Law And Order, and Sex in the City, as well as on films like Spider-man, Kissing Jessica Stein, and Spike Lee's 3 A.M.
Schroder co-wrote, produced, and directed the feature film Jimmy and Judy, starring Edward Furlong and Rachael Bella. This film earned two Best Feature Awards at the Newport Beach International Film Festival and the San Francisco Independent Film Festival. Jimmy and Judy was subsequently released theatrically by Outsider Pictures in the Fall of 2006.
