Born and raised in the vibrant city of Inglewood, California, Allen's early life was marked by a unique blend of creative expression and athletic pursuits. As a teenager, he discovered a profound passion for storytelling through his drawings, as well as a natural talent for the gridiron, where he excelled as a football player.
During his 16th year, Allen's entrepreneurial spirit began to emerge, as he started editing his teammates' highlight tapes using an innovative setup of two VCRs and a PlayStation, cleverly connecting the devices to input sounds. This early foray into film production laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.
Following his high school graduation, Allen's academic and athletic abilities earned him a prestigious scholarship to attend Brigham Young University (BYU),where he would go on to play football and continue his education.
However, his collegiate football career was cut short, as he left BYU after his junior year to pursue a professional football career with the Cincinnati Bengals. Unfortunately, he was cut from the team prior to the start of the season, forcing him to reevaluate his priorities.
In the aftermath of this setback, Allen returned to his first love – storytelling through film – and began to slowly build his production company, InglewoodFilms. With a renewed sense of purpose, he dedicated himself to nurturing his creative vision, laying the foundation for a successful and fulfilling career in the world of film production.
