Hiromi Chino, professionally known as Hiromi Senso, was born on August 18, 1956, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Her real name is Hiromi Wakano.
Chino made her acting debut in the Japanese television drama "Tanpopo" in 1973. Throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s, she frequently appeared as a recurring guest on the popular detective drama "Taiyou ni Hoero".
In 1980, Chino landed a significant role as Fujiko, the consort of Blackthorne, in the American television miniseries "Shogun". Her impressive performance led to further opportunities, including appearances in the renowned NHK dramas "Oshin" and "Mito Komon".
