Hayley Nichole Williams, born December 27, 1988, is a multifaceted American artist, songwriter, musician, and entrepreneur. As the lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and keyboardist of the renowned rock band Paramore, she has made a lasting impact on the music industry.
Paramore was formed in 2004 by Hayley Williams, along with Josh Farro, Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with the current members consisting of Hayley Williams, Zac Farro, and Taylor York. Throughout their illustrious career, Paramore has released five studio albums: All We Know Is Falling (2005),Riot! (2007),Brand New Eyes (2009),Paramore (2013),and After Laughter (2017).
Aside from her work with Paramore, Hayley Williams has also ventured into solo projects. In 2009, she recorded the song "Teenagers" for the soundtrack of Jennifer's Body. She has collaborated with various artists, including October Fall, The Chariot, Set Your Goals, Zedd, and New Found Glory. Her notable collaborations include the single "Airplanes" with B.o.B, which peaked at number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and "Airplanes, Part II", featuring Eminem.
In 2020, Hayley Williams released her debut solo single "Simmer" and announced her debut studio album Petals for Armor, which was released on May 8, 2020. The album was preceded by two EPs, Petals for Armor I and II, which make up the first two-thirds of the album. Her second solo record, Flowers for Vases/Descansos, was released less than a year later on February 5, 2021.
In addition to her music ventures, Hayley Williams has explored other creative pursuits. She launched an online beauty and music series, Kiss-Off, on Popular TV in 2015, and co-founded the hair-dye company Good Dye Young in 2016.
