Hamy Ramezan, a multifaceted Finnish-Iranian film director and screenwriter, has traversed a tumultuous journey, marked by fleeing persecution in his native Iran and subsequently navigating the challenges of Yugoslav refugee camps as a young boy.
Following a harrowing odyssey, Ramezan and his family finally found refuge in Finland in 1990, a turning point that would ultimately shape his life's trajectory.
As he pursued his passion for filmmaking, Ramezan went on to graduate from the esteemed film school at UCA, Franham in 2007, marking a significant milestone in his career.
