Upon graduating in 1967, Bond transitioned into a career in commercial jingle writing before conceiving the character of Aunty Jack for an ABC children's radio show. This Goons-inspired persona initially appeared in an episode of The Comedy Game in 1971, preceding the 1972 launch of The Aunty Jack Show, which swiftly gained a devoted cult following on the ABC.
Decades later, in the 1990s, Bond took the reins as host of the Channel Seven game show Whose House is it Anyway, and subsequently served as a presenter on the esteemed Seven lifestyle series Better Homes and Gardens for a six-year stint.
