Glenn Fitzgerald is an American actor born on December 21, 1971. He has accumulated over 30 roles in movies and television series throughout his career. One of his most notable roles was playing the character of Sean in the film The Sixth Sense. He has also appeared in a variety of other movies, including Series 7: The Contenders, Neal Cassady, Confess, Flirting With Disaster, and 40 Days and 40 Nights.
Fitzgerald has had a strong presence in the theater world, starring in Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero. He has also worked alongside Peter Krause in the television series Dirty Sexy Money, as well as in three episodes of season two of Six Feet Under. In both Dirty Sexy Money and Series 7: The Contenders, he has had the opportunity to work with actress Brooke Smith.
In addition to his work in film and television, Fitzgerald has appeared in the movie Buffalo Soldiers, playing the role of Hicks, the tank operator. He has also played the role of Natalie Imbruglia's love interest in her 1998 Top 20 summer hit single "Wishing I Was There." The music video for the song was filmed in New York by acclaimed director Alison Maclean.
In the future, Fitzgerald will be creating the role of "Alan" in the world premiere of THIS, a play written by Melissa James Gibson, at New York's Playwrights Horizons. He will be performing alongside Julianne Nicholson from November 6 to December 13, 2009.
Fitzgerald grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and his brooding looks led to him being cast as a Calvin Klein model in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He quickly transitioned to character work in some of Hollywood's most critically acclaimed films, becoming a featured performer in independent films and a staple at the Sundance Film Festival.
