Flannan Obé, born in 1975, is a French actor of film, television, and theater. He began his training as a comedian at the age of 14 at the Pantin Conservatory and continued at the Cours Florent. Simultaneously, he pursued a lyrical formation at the Rochelle Conservatory, followed by those of the 20th, 11th, and 6th arrondissements of Paris. More recently, he has taken dance courses.
On stage, he has tackled a wide range of repertoires, from tragedy, with Racine or Mishima, to boulevard comedy, with Feydeau, Guitry, Labiche, or Courteline. However, he finds the most joy in spectacles combining theater and song. Thus, he regularly performs in the opérette and embodies different roles for Offenbach. For five years, he has been Gaston in the trio Lucienne and the Boys, which performs in Paris and the provinces.
Their second creation, Music-Hall, won the SPEDIDAM Prize in 2006 at the Molière Awards ceremony. Additionally, Flannan appears frequently in film and television, in movies such as Monsieur Batignole by Gérard Jugnot, or series like Rastignac or the Ambitious and Avocats et Associés on France 2, where he plays Jean Bern.
In 2007, he joined the Company of Brigands and toured with them, performing in Arsène Lupin, Banker by Marcel Lattès, with lyrics by Albert Willemetz. This opérette, which premiered in 1930, was originally performed by the young Jean Gabin in the role of Gontran, Lupin's sidekick; Flannan took on this same role in this new production.
