Born in Brazil, Fernanda Machado is a talented presenter and actress who has made a significant impact in the Brazilian entertainment industry. Her acting career began in 1998 with a role in the TV Globo series "Sandy & Júnior," where she played the spoiled and extravagant Patty, the comic antagonist of the story.
Throughout her career, Fernanda has received numerous proposals for roles, but was often prevented from accepting them by the series' management. However, she eventually debuted in her first soap opera, "Agora É que São Elas," in 2003, and went on to play a range of characters in various soap operas, including "Da Cor do Pecado," "América," and "Desire Proibido."
In addition to her work in soap operas, Fernanda has also appeared in films, including "O Homem que Desafio o Diabo" and "Podecrer!" In 2009, she played the role of Maria Rosa in the stage play "Paraíso," a girl who returns to her hometown to help her family manage their farms and political life.
Fernanda's breakout role came in 2011 when she played the provocative Irene Brandão in the soap opera "Insensato Coração." She then went on to play the role of Márcia, a lieutenant in the Brazilian Army, in the soap opera "Salve Jorge." In 2013, she made her technical debut behind the camera, directing music videos for Lulu Santos and Luiza Possi.
In 2014, Fernanda debuted as a presenter in the talent show "Superstar," and went on to star in the series "Amor Veríssimo" and "Odeio Segundas" for GNT. She announced her departure from Rede Globo in May 2016, after 18 years with the network, and signed a contract with Band to focus on her career as a presenter. Fernanda presented the Brazilian version of "The X Factor" on Band until her departure from the network in July 2017.
