Faris Alrjoob, a multifaceted artist and filmmaker, traverses the realms of film, video art, and performance, continually pushing the boundaries of his creative expression.

With a strong educational foundation, Alrjoob has had the privilege of studying at the esteemed Academy of Media Arts Cologne, as well as the renowned Emerson College in Boston, where he honed his skills and expanded his artistic vision.

Alrjoob's most recent cinematic endeavor, the striking short film "The Red Sea Makes Me Wanna Cry" (21', 2023),made its triumphant debut at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival, specifically within the prestigious Quinzaine des Cinéastes section. Moreover, this visually stunning piece earned a nomination for the coveted German Short Film Lola award, a testament to its innovative storytelling and exceptional craftsmanship.
