Derek Sherinian, a highly acclaimed American fusion and rock keyboardist, was born on August 25, 1966, in the picturesque coastal city of Laguna Beach, California. Throughout his illustrious career, he has had the privilege of collaborating with a plethora of renowned musicians, including the iconic Billy Idol, the innovative Planet X, the legendary Alice Cooper, and the virtuosic Yngwie Malmsteen.
In addition to these notable partnerships, Sherinian also had the distinction of serving as the keyboardist for the progressive metal band Dream Theater from 1994 to 1999.
