Courtney Baxter, a talented individual from West Chester, Pennsylvania, embarked on a remarkable journey in the entertainment industry at a remarkably young age. By the time she was 11, she had already joined both the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA),allowing her to work across the country and hone her skills as a performer.
As she continued to grow and develop as an artist, Courtney's experiences in film production only deepened her interest in the craft. At just 16 years old, she took on the role of Executive Producer and lead actress in the drama film "Reco," which went on to receive critical acclaim on the festival circuit.
Fast forward to her 18th year, and Courtney had already established herself as a seasoned professional. She Executive Produced and starred as Eve in the horror feature film "Hallow's Eve," which secured distribution with eOne in 2012. That same year, she began her college education, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
In 2013, Courtney interned at Tribeca Films, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with her mentor and develop, produce, and star in the feature film "Running on Empty." The film is set to premiere in the United States in 2014, a testament to Courtney's hard work and dedication to her craft.
In addition to her work on "Running on Empty," Courtney is also proud to be a part of the "Sharknado 2" team. Filming the sequel to the instant cult classic was an unforgettable experience, and the film is set to premiere on the SYFY channel on July 31, 2014.
