Christopher Sanders, a multifaceted individual with a passion for making people laugh, hails from a small, one-stop-light town in Southwest Michigan, which he prefers to refer to as Kalamazoo, rather than its actual name, Schoolcraft. At a young age, he discovered the transformative power of humor and dedicated his life to spreading joy and laughter, a pursuit that eventually eclipsed his childhood ambition to become a zoologist.
Sanders began his acting journey in middle school and never looked back. However, he took a brief detour after his first semester at Western Michigan University, where he joined the Army at the start of 2001. This decision led to a four-and-a-half-year hiatus from comedy, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to his creative pursuits and relocated to Chicago, where he graduated from the Second City Theater Conservatory.
Sanders then joined Catharsis Productions, traveling the world to perform improv for colleges and military installations, accumulating over 1,000 shows across seven years. Following his move to Los Angeles, where he resides with his wife and two young sons, he has achieved success in both television and voice-over work. He has appeared in popular TV shows such as Yellowstone, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Teachers, as well as starring in commercial campaigns for various brands.
Sanders' voice has been featured in numerous promos, including those for FanDuel and AT&T, as well as in video games like Call of Duty Mobile and a 3D interactive Men In Black experience. He has also lent his voice to the big screen, narrating the Grinch Horror Parody: The Mean One, a surprisingly popular film.
Currently, Sanders can be heard as a regular cast member on The Super Legit Podcast, an adaptation of his award-winning improv team's stage show, which is released every other Wednesday on all major platforms.
