Biography

Choi's academic pursuits led her to major in Scenario at the prestigious Korea National University of Arts, where she honed her skills in crafting compelling narratives.

In 2012, Choi's impressive filmmaking talents earned her an invitation to the competitive section of the Great Short Film Festival, where her short film "Gosum the Hedgehog" made a lasting impression on the festival's organizers and attendees alike.

Fast forward to 2014, Choi's creative vision and direction led to the production of her short film "The Sound of Mind", a testament to her growth as a filmmaker and her ability to tell powerful stories through the medium of cinema.

And then, in 2015, Choi's feature film debut, "More Than Family", was released to critical acclaim, cementing her status as a talented and innovative filmmaker in the Korean cinematic landscape.
