Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro is a talented Spanish racing driver who has made a significant impact in the world of Formula One. Born on September 1, 1994, in Madrid, Spain, Sainz is the son of Carlos Sainz Sr., a double World Rally Champion.
Sainz's racing career began in 2012 when he competed in the British and European Formula 3 championships for Carlin. He then moved on to race for DAMS in the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 season, where he won the championship.
In 2015, Sainz made his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso, before joining Renault for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He then moved to McLaren for the 2019 season, while also ending his contract with Red Bull Racing.
