Biography

Ulambayar Byambajav, better known by his stage name Byamba, was a multifaceted Mongolian individual who made a significant impact in the world of professional sumo wrestling and entertainment. His remarkable journey began in Japan in the year 2001, where he adopted the name Daishōchi Kenta and embarked on a professional sumo wrestling career.

Although he eventually grew tired of the lifestyle, Byamba's passion for sumo wrestling never truly faded, and he went on to achieve great success as an amateur wrestler. In fact, he won the prestigious Sumo World Championships not once, but twice, in the years 2006 and 2007. His impressive resume also includes a gold medal at the 2009 World Games and another at the 2013 World Combat Games.

However, Byamba's talents extended far beyond the world of sumo wrestling. He was also an accomplished entertainer, and his impressive skills were showcased on the popular comedy show Impractical Jokers.

Tragically, Byamba's life was cut short due to a prolonged illness, which ultimately led to his passing in a Los Angeles hospital in February 2020. Despite his untimely departure, Byamba's remarkable achievements and contributions to the world of sumo wrestling and entertainment will always be remembered and celebrated.
