Borivoje "Bora" Todorović, a renowned Serbian actor, was born on November 5, 1930, in Belgrade, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He is the younger sibling of the esteemed actress, Mira Stupica, and the father of Srđan Todorović. Todorović's acting career spans numerous critically acclaimed Yugoslavian films, including Who's That Singing Over There (1980),The Marathon Family (1982),Balkan Express (1983),Balkanski Špijun (Balkan Spy, 1984),Time of the Gypsies (1988),and Underground (1995).
Despite his father's untimely death during his childhood, Todorović completed his secondary education and served in the army. Initially, he had no aspirations to pursue an acting career, but his older sister Mira's passion for acting sparked his interest. He enrolled in the Belgrade Drama Arts Academy and eventually acted on stage at the Belgrade Drama Theatre. In 1957, Todorović relocated to Zagreb, where he continued his acting career, before returning to Belgrade in 1961.
Between 1961 and 1983, Todorović was a member of the prestigious "Atelje 212" theater in Belgrade, performing various roles. In October 2002, he appeared on the Zvezdara Theatre stage in Belgrade, in the play Larry Thompson. Todorović currently divides his residence between Prague and Belgrade. He is married to Carolyn Kilkka, with whom he has two children, Dana and Tara. He also has a child from his previous marriage to Snežana Matić.
Sadly, Todorović passed away on July 7, 2014, after suffering a brain-stroke, leaving behind a legacy of remarkable performances and a lifetime of dedication to his craft.
