Bobbi Jo Hart has dedicated the past twenty years to passionately directing "up close and personal" award-winning documentaries, often venturing out alone to capture a greater sense of intimacy with her subjects.
Her latest feature documentary, "Rebels On Pointe", follows in the footsteps of her previous award-winning film, "I Am Not a Rock Star", which made its way around the world, touring numerous film festivals, including Thessaloniki, Palm Springs, Vancouver, and Krakow.
Throughout its global tour, "I Am Not a Rock Star" garnered numerous accolades, including two Canadian Screen Awards for Best Performing Arts Documentary and Best Editing, as well as a nomination for Best Direction.
The film's success led to its acquisition by several global networks, including Documentary Channel, BBC4, and SVT, before being released on various digital platforms, such as iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and more.
