Benjamin Aldridge, born on November 12, 1985, in Devon, England, is a talented actor who began his journey with the National Youth Theatre. He later graduated from the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, receiving a bursary from the Genesis Foundation to support young actors.
Before completing his studies, Ben made his television debut in the 2008 series "Compulsion," alongside notable actors Ray Winstone and Parminder Nagra. This early success led to his notable role as Harry Fanshawe, the husband of the title character, in the critically acclaimed Channel 4 series "The Devil's Whore," set during the English Civil War.
Ben's impressive performances did not go unnoticed, as he was selected by Screen International as one of their "Stars of Tomorrow" in 2008. He has since appeared in a range of projects, including the BBC's period drama "Lark Rise to Candleford," where he played the role of Daniel Parish.
In 2011, Ben was cast as the lead in the CW's pilot "Heavenly," and later starred in the partially improvised love story "In the Night," shot in Belgrade, alongside supermodel Daniela Dimitrovska. The film was directed by Ivana Bobic and featured award-winning cinematography by Rain Li.
In 2014, Ben joined the cast of BBC Original British Drama "Our Girl" as Captain Charles James, showcasing his versatility as a character actor. In addition to his acting career, Ben is also a co-founder of the production company "In the Corner Productions."
