Anthony W Johnson is the visionary founder of Ballet Magique, a renowned entertainment company in Los Angeles, California, that seamlessly blends dance, magic, music, theatre, and Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) to create captivating performances, earning worldwide acclaim and prestigious nominations for "Outstanding Achievement in Choreography," Costume and Lighting Design" for Ballet Magique's "Ring of the Rose, as well as a recent performance at the World Dance & Choreography Awards and a stunning production of "The 'C' Diaries at the Alex Theater in Glendale, California.
Anthony's creative journey began at a young age, with his first writings emerging at nine years old, and his poetry was subsequently published in several anthologies, accompanied by numerous awards for his work. His thespian talents have been showcased in various roles, including a nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of "Tommy Gomez in "Me and Ms. D" at The Black Ensemble Theatre of Chicago, as well as lead roles in "A Streetcar Named Desire," "The Amen Corner," and numerous Children's Theater productions at Ebony Talent Association in Chicago.
Anthony's television and film credits include appearances in "Son of the Beach," "Hoodlum," "Skin Walker," "The World Magic Awards," "Jackson's: An American Dream," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," and "Black Limousine."
In addition to his creative pursuits, Anthony has also ventured into producing independent feature films, serving as both a screenplay writer and producer for several movies with Samaco Films, and currently holds the role of Creative producer for the company. He is set to direct the motion picture musical Alexis Colette, followed by the thriller "Vodun."
