Angie Bullaro is a multifaceted creative force, boasting a plethora of talents as an actor, writer, filmmaker, and producer. Her impressive repertoire also includes screenwriting, with a recent screenplay penned for "Between the Pipes", a film based on the extraordinary true story of Manon Rheaume.
As the founder of Lazy Kitty Productions, Bullaro took on the challenge of acting in the company's inaugural feature film, "The Networker". Her mission to create a movie with a strong female lead led her down a fascinating path, as she recalled the name of a pioneering hockey player, Manon Rheaume, who played in the early 1990s. Bullaro extended an invitation to Rheaume to collaborate on the screenplay for "Between the Pipes", and the latter graciously accepted. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a delay in production, but Bullaro remains optimistic, with plans to begin filming in the spring of 2021.
As a child, Bullaro's fascination with stories, writing, and storytelling was evident. She began writing at an early age, and her love for words has only grown stronger with time. This passion has culminated in her becoming an award-winning author. Her children's book, "Breaking the Ice", is a testament to her dedication, as it is based on the remarkable life of Manon Rheaume.
When not conjuring up fantastical stories, Bullaro resides in New York City with her husband, Mike Musco, and their feline companion, Miles. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing soccer. However, her true passion lies in creating stories and movies. One can often find her at Central Park, climbing trees and letting her imagination run wild, dreaming up new and exciting tales.
