Alfred Paget, a renowned English silent film actor, embarked on a remarkable career spanning over a decade, with a staggering 239 film appearances between 1908 and 1918.

In his personal life, Paget was married to the lovely Leila Halstead, a union that brought joy to his life.

However, fate had other plans, and in the summer of 1919, Paget contracted a debilitating form of malarial fever, which ultimately proved to be his demise.
