Oscar nominee Alexis Wajsbrot's extensive career has been marked by the creation of some of modern cinema's most breathtaking and awe-inspiring action sequences, as well as his ability to elicit deeply nuanced and emotionally resonant performances from fully computer-generated characters.
Praised by renowned director James Gunn as "some of the best VFX work ever seen," Wajsbrot's contributions to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 were instrumental in making Rocket Raccoon the film's standout character.
Prior to this, he was responsible for designing and overseeing some of the most complex and mind-bending sequences in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, as well as the memorable "illusion battle" in Spider-Man: Far From Home, where Peter Parker's worst fears came to life.
In addition to his technical expertise and creative vision, Alexis Wajsbrot brings a deep and abiding passion for cinema to his work, a passion that led him to co-direct the critically acclaimed horror film Don't Hang Up, which premiered at the 2016 LA Film Festival.
Most recently, Wajsbrot has stepped away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to take on a new challenge, serving as Production VFX Supervisor on the third installment of the beloved Paddington franchise, set in Peru.
