Moritaka's journey in the world of modeling commenced during her elementary school years. She quickly gained popularity and became an exclusive model for the renowned teenage fashion magazine Love Berry, starting from 2011. This was followed by her association with Pichi Lemon in 2012, further solidifying her status as a rising star in the modeling industry.
As she transitioned to the world of acting, Moritaka made her debut in the 2012 TBS drama Beginners!, showcasing her versatility and talent to a wider audience. Her impressive performance in this drama caught the attention of the NHK network, leading to her casting in the drama Gekiryu: Watashi o Oboete Imasu ka? in which she portrayed the younger version of the female protagonist.
Her subsequent role in the 2014 television series Ressha Sentai ToQger marked a significant milestone in her acting career, as she took on the character of Kagura, also known as ToQ 5gou.
