Two filmmakers, Ole and Chick, are struggling to create a movie under the direction of a demanding director. He brings them to a young writer who outlines an absurd plot: Jeff and Kitty must produce a musical revue in their garden, with the goal of taking it to Broadway, and Jeff's success will secure his marriage to Kitty. However, a cast of characters, including a rival suitor, a fake Russian count, and a detective, complicate the situation, leading Ole and Chick to question whether Kitty is the right woman for Jeff.
