Innocent Blood

A vampire named Marie struggles to balance her dual desires for sex and blood, but her career is disrupted when she's interrupted during a feeding and begins a romance with a policeman investigating her latest victim. Meanwhile, the victim, Sal, awakens in the morgue and seeks revenge by building a criminal empire of vampires, leading to a cat-and-mouse game between Marie, her lover, and Sal's new undead gang.
