In July 2001, anti-globalization activists and Black Bloc anarchists attempt to disrupt the G8 summit in Genoa, Italy. The authorities, determined to prevent this, give the anti-riot police free rein to repress the protesters. A police raid on the Diaz school, a makeshift shelter and support center, descends into chaos as officers use brutal force and humiliation to detain those inside.
