The Changeling

When Apollo Kagwa’s father vanished, leaving him a box of books and unsettling recurring dreams, he now finds himself as a devoted father with Emma by his side, navigating the challenges of raising children while grappling with exhaustion and anxiety. As they settle into their new roles as parents, old memories begin to resurface—especially Apollo's childhood dreams—and Emma displays signs of postpartum depression. Initially mistaken for symptoms of her mental state, Apollo must confront a horrifying reality when she vanishes without warning. Determined to find his lost child and wife, Apollo embarks on an odyssey through various locations: a forgotten island, a graveyard steeped in secrets, a forest filled with immigrant legends, and ultimately, back to a place he thought he had left behind forever.
