The Fighting Renegade

A government agent accused of murder assumes the persona of a Mexican vigilante leader, "The Puma", to clear his name and track down the real culprits.

A Mexican desert guide named El Puma leads an archaeological expedition through the Indian badlands of Mexico, accompanied by Professor Lucious Lloyd's niece Marian, who can translate ancient Aztec writings. When the professor is murdered, the suspected killer is revealed to be El Puma, whose true identity is later exposed as Lightnin' Bill Carson, a former federal agent. Carson, now a suspect, must clear his name and prove his innocence.
