In the 1940s western film, Tex Ritter stars as a young U.S. Deputy Marshal who poses as a wanted outlaw to track down his missing father. He takes refuge in the hacienda of Don Estaban Valle, where he becomes embroiled in a conflict between the Don's daughter, Lolita, and the ranch manager, Evans. As Tex navigates the treacherous situation, he sings several songs, including his own compositions, and ultimately uncovers a plot to murder the Don and frame him for the crime. With the help of a good-bad guy and two surprise witnesses, Tex clears his name and brings the true culprit to justice.
