Jake Morgan becomes a cop on his first day but is murdered shortly after. A year later, the film follows his family as they cope with the loss and reflect on what happened. Jake narrates the story while his mother continues her quest for office, his father recovers from grief, Max tries to find himself, and Max's sisters grapple with their brother's absence. "Still Life" promises to be a compelling TV series.
