Kwai Chang Caine, a Shaolin monk, flees to America after killing the Chinese Emperor's nephew in revenge for the murder of his teacher. He seeks his half-brother and a peaceful life in the Wild West, but finds himself entangled in conflicts with outlaws and bounty hunters.
