Disillusioned hit man Barry Berkman seeks a way out of his life of crime. He travels to Los Angeles to execute a hit, but instead finds himself drawn to a community of aspiring actors, particularly dedicated student Sally. As he becomes infatuated with Sally, Barry wants to start a new life as an actor, but his handler, Fuches, has other plans, and Barry's criminal past makes it difficult for him to leave his old life behind.
