François Chau, a Cambodian-American actor born on October 26, 1959, stands at a height of 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 meters). He is renowned for his iconic roles in various productions, including Dr. Pierre Chang in ABC's Lost and Dr. Chang in the film 21 & Over.
Chau's early life was marked by a series of significant moves, beginning with his birth in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to parents of Chinese and Vietnamese descent. When he was approximately six years old, his family relocated to Saigon, which is now known as Ho Chi Minh City. This move was followed by a relocation to France at the tender age of seven, due to the Vietnam War. After a year in France, Chau and his family made the journey to Washington, D.C., United States, where they settled and Chau received his education.
