Cowboy musicians, The Buckaroos, are stranded in Little Lip, Texas, after their flight to Hollywood is diverted. With no rooms available at the local hotel, the band members - Bucky, Phil, Jack, Chuck, and Ginger - are forced to find alternative accommodations amidst a sudden mining boom.

Cowboy musicians, The Buckaroos, crash-land in Little Lip, Texas, en route to Hollywood to make their debut film. With no hotel rooms available, they take on ranch hands' jobs at the Bar-B ranch, owned by Sally Barton, to get a place to sleep. Their true identities are soon discovered, and they become local heroes by helping with the harvest. Eventually, they leave to film their movie at the ranch, resolving the misunderstanding with Sally and gaining her approval.
