The Stand at Apache River background

The Stand at Apache River

A group of stagecoach passengers, station owners, a sheriff, and his prisoner find themselves under attack by a group of renegade Apaches at Apache River Station.

In the movie, a sheriff captures a wounded robbery-murder suspect just as he's ambushed by Apaches. The suspect and the sheriff spend the night at an outpost with other travelers, including two women with many fancy dresses. The next morning, a group of peaceful Apaches from the reservation arrives, but a bigoted colonel is ready to attack them without hesitation.
