In the town of Prairie Dog, Hannah Brockway is engaged to marry Dr. Sam Martin, but she falls in love with Ben Dembrow, the son of an outlaw leader. Despite their love, Ben is tried for a crime he didn't commit and is rescued by his family. Ben's family life eventually leads him to kidnap Hannah's child, sparking a showdown between Ben and Martin.
