Mickey tends to his farm duties, assisted by Horace and Clarabelle, amidst a lively atmosphere. Minnie's sweet singing is interrupted by Mickey's romantic gesture, causing her to leave abruptly. Clarabelle's enthusiasm gets a bit too intense for Mickey, who must intervene to restore order. Meanwhile, a bee's sting sends Horace into a frantic gallop, resulting in the destruction of Mickey's plow.
