The story follows Prince Bu, a well-behaved and kind-hearted prince from the Troll Kingdom, who is sent to the human world to learn about their ways. However, his brothers and other trolls have other plans for him, and he finds himself in a series of misadventures as he tries to navigate this new world. Along the way, he meets two human girls who teach him about God and the importance of being kind, and he begins to question his own identity and the values of his troll society.
