John Nordley, a sailboat captain, lives on his boat, The Aloha, in the Port of Baymouth, England, and conducts private charters. He often takes the boat to unlisted countries, which puts his license at risk. When a new customer, Mr. Anselm, requests a one-week sail to the British Isles, Nordley is hesitant, but Anselm asks to sail to Maasvlakte, Holland, claiming it's not illegal. The request gets Nordley into trouble with The Hague police, who detain him and seize his boat. Nordley must figure out Anselm's true intentions and clear his name while also learning that criminal elements are after what Anselm wants to bring into Holland.
