In 1220, a group of English crusaders arrives in Samarkand, just as the city and its princess are facing danger from Genghis Khan's hordes. The princess, Shalimar, tries to outsmart the conqueror, while Sir Guy decides to take a brave but ultimately futile stand against the invaders.
