The goddess is welcomed by a whimsical display of dancing flowers and fairies, only to be whisked away by the devil to become his queen. As winter sets in above ground, the goddess's spirits sink, but the devil, dissatisfied himself, makes a surprising offer: he'll grant her anything to bring her joy. They strike a bargain, with the goddess spending six months above ground and six below, resulting in the cyclical pattern of seasons.
