The Glass Wall background

The Glass Wall

A World War II "displaced person" jumps ship in New York harbor, embarking on a desperate search for an ex-G.I. who can vouch for his right to stay in the United States.

A young Hungarian refugee, Peter Kuban, stows away on a ship from Trieste to New York City, hoping to claim refugee status due to his wartime experiences and heroic actions. However, he's denied entry due to lack of proper paperwork and must escape to find the American paratrooper, Tom, who he saved during the war.
